He brings extensive experience across accounting, insurance, and business ownership, allowing him to provide practical, well-rounded guidance to individuals and businesses across a wide range of industries.
Abby holds licenses in accounting as well as Property & Casualty Insurance. He is also the owner of DCAP Family Insurance Brokerage Inc., a retail insurance agency specializing in Property & Casualty Insurance products. Through this background, Abby has developed a strong understanding of commercial risk management, with a particular focus on general liability and workers’ compensation coverage for the construction industry.
Abby’s professional experience also includes hands-on business ownership, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges business owners face in managing operations, growth, risk, and financial decisions.
His accounting practice serves a diverse client base, including businesses in food service, insurance, apparel, domestic manufacturing, real estate, racehorse ownership, and construction. He has a particular concentration in working with small to mid-sized contractors within the construction trade.
Abby currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Nassau Chapter of NCCPAP, where he remains active in supporting the accounting profession and the local business community.
